
Drew Wheeler (Co Owner of ScubaDrew Video,Videographer & PADI Scuba Instructor) has a passion for filming beneath the waves. After 13 years of Electronics Engineering in the L.A. aerospace industry, Drew purchased his first underwater camera and never looked back. “ I found the art of underwater filming to be both relaxing and challenging at the same time. You begin to view the undersea world in a completely different way”
A born and raised New Englander, Drew served a stint in the US ARMY at Ft Carson, CO. then made his way to Los Angeles. His first professional video project was as crew and videographer on board the ORV Alguita for the study of “Pelagic Plastics” conducted by the Algalita Marine Research Foundation. Now a resident of Oahu, Drew’s life revolves around diving and underwater videography. From custom recreational dive videos to environmental research documentation; Drew, along with his wife and editor Jamie, have made a career out of a passion.
